Woodlawn #209 Parents - 5 Essentials Survey

Your child’s school would like your feedback! Woodlawn USD #209, along with schools across the state, is offering the 5 Essentials survey to parents of children in the district. This opportunity will allow you to share your thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness in a survey about your child’s school.

If you would like to take the survey but do not have access to a computer, computers will be available at home basketball games at each school. Please see a staff member at one of the games and he or she can help you get set up.

This survey identifies five indicators that can lead to important student outcomes, including improved attendance and larger test score gains. The five indicators that affect school success are:

• Involved Families
• Supportive Environments
• Ambitious Instruction
