Sectional Finals!
Congratulations to the WHS Boys Basketball Team - 2019 Class 1A Regional Champions! They defeated Thompsonville 58-40 on Friday night to win the Wayne City Regional and earn a spot in the Gallatin County Sectional Tournament.
Update: WHS then defeated the Gallatin County Hawks in the opening round of sectional play. The Cardinals advanced to Friday night's sectional championship versus Sesser-Valier. The sectional championship game is scheduled for 7:00 on Friday at Gallatin County High School. Tickets are on sale now through 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and until 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Each ticket is $5 and is a general admission ticket.
