WGS Visits Wall of Remembrance
The 6th-8th grade students at Woodlawn Grade School went on a field trip to the Rear Area Support Foundation's Wall of Remembrance at the Mt. Vernon Outland Airport. The students heard from a Marine that travels with the memorial. The students also were able to tour the military museum at the airport. Afterwards, the students munched on some lunch at City Park and worked on creating their own flag in honor of Patriots Day. The students had a splendid time during their field trip and learned a lot!
