Volley for the Cure - Thur Oct 10

The Woodlawn High School Volleyball team will be holding their annual Volley for the Cure game this year on October 10th in Sides Gymnasium. The freshman game starts at 5:15 with the JV and Varsity games to follow. There will be an Alfredo/Chicken Alfredo dinner from 4-7 in the cafeteria and old gym, a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles, and a volleyball serving contest. You can ask any volleyball player, Mrs. Lamczyk or Ms. Berry, or you can e-mail Mrs. Lamczyk or Ms. Berry to purchase your dinner ticket for $10. Send payment to Woodlawn High School, and please make checks payable to WHS Volleyball. This year’s cause is especially close to our hearts, because it is supporting Coach Lamczyk’s niece, Isabella (Bella) Boyer. Bella is a beautiful, fun, athletic 13-year old girl that has been diagnosed with stage IV Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. Her family is having to go through multiple inpatient hospital visits to receive chemotherapy. All of these treatments add up, so we are asking that everyone tries to pitch in to help this great family and amazing girl. To learn more about Bella you can visit https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/isabellaboyer and follow her story!
