District #209 Welcomes New Staff

There’s no doubt that Woodlawn High School and Woodlawn Grade School have a great deal of awesome staff members. However, the list just got a little bigger and better. Our school district will be welcoming a total of eight new staff members this year. There are some fresh new faces coming, as well as some familiar faces.
The newcomers to our district include John Daniels, who will be the new evening custodian, Leah Bennett, as a kindergarten aide, Ron Stanart, as a substitute aide, and Raeghan Fitzjerrells who will be an AmeriCorps worker. As for the familiar faces, we will be welcoming back Dawson Verhines as a permanent substitute teacher and the new WHS boy’s basketball coach, Annie Wehrheim as WGS’s P.E. student teacher, and Abby Witzel who will be an AmeriCorps worker.
To all the new workers joining us this year, welcome to Woodlawn!
