WHS Accounting Students Earn Accolades
Woodlawn High School's Accounting class competed virtually in the 23rd Annual SIUC Accounting Challenge this semester. The competition is a two-part event including an objective test of accounting knowledge and a team trivia battle. WHS's team of Ashtyn Barton, Joel Hayse, Sam Moore, and Macy Williams earned 1st Place in the Accounting I division. On Monday, May 10, Dr. Marcus Odum from the School of Accountancy at SIUC visited WHS and delivered t-shirts for the entire class as well as trophies for the winning team.
