Woodlawn's Veterans Memorial Fundraiser
SATURDAY, JULY 17TH
Woodlawn's Mayor, Rodney Airington, proclaimed July 17th as Woodlawn's Veterans Memorial Day. The Veterans Committee is hosting a BBQ Drive Thru Fundraiser at the Woodlawn Community Building from 11:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. Fund will be used to expand the Memorial.
Chairman, Colonel Troy Poorman, accepted a $500 donation from John and Cheryl Hunsell, from the LCPL Kyle Price Foundation and a donation of $250 from Debbie Bartolomucci, representing Community First Bank. In addition, Pepsi has donated soda and both the Frosty Mug and Kroger have donated the meat. Kathleen Melissa Ray has donated four of her awesome military hanging lights to help raise funds.
