The Woodlawn High School chapter of the National Honor Society is partnered with the American Red Cross to earn scholarships for our graduating seniors. At the end of the 2024-2025 school year, we awarded three $500 scholarships to deserving seniors, and we hope to increase that amount this school year. Our scholarships are driven by the number of pints of blood collected at our drives held during the year. Please consider making a blood donation to save a life and fund a scholarship. Thank you!

We’re excited to host our 2026 Little Cards Volleyball Camp on May 27–29. Camp is open to any incoming 5th–8th grade athletes in the area! This is a great opportunity to build basic skills, learn from experienced players/coaches, gain confidence, and have fun learning the game.

Woodlawn Schools will be hosting a large scale emergency response training exercise on Monday, March 9. The drill will start at 7am and possibly last until the early afternoon. As part of the drill, you will see and increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel near WGS and WHS. If you see a police presence and other emergency vehicles, there is no cause for alarm.
