Scholarships - For Seniors

Listed below are scholarship opportunities available to high school seniors.  For more information, see Mrs. Witzel.

Scholarship Criteria Deadline
Elks Scholarship High School Seniors 11/5/19
Hagan Scholarship
  1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  2. Must attend an Eligible Public High School.
  3. Must be a student in the 2020 high school graduating class.
  4. Must have achieved a high school CGPA of 3.75 or higher.
  5. Must have scored 24 or higher on the ACT (Composite Score) or 1,150 on the SAT.
  6. Must enroll at an eligible four-year college the first semester following high school graduation.
  7. Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of college; from August 2019 to August 2020.
  8. Must complete the FAFSA in 2019 using 2018 tax return information; the EFC must not exceed $6,500.
  9. Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants.
  10. Must not have been convicted of a felony.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Program Senior planning to study computer science or computer engineering; 3.0/4.0 GPA 1/17/20
America's Farmers

If you are pursuing a career in Agriculture, you may qualify for the Grow America Agricultural Scholarship.  Use the link below to access the qualifications and application form.  You will need two farmers to sponsor your application.  Mrs. Sandra Kabat (principal at WGS) has offered to sponsor anyone applying for this scholarship.
