Woodlawn High School will celebrate the area's veterans today, 11/7, with an assembly at 2pm. The featured speaker will be Illinois Supreme Court Justice David Overstreet. The public is welcome to attend.

WGS and WHS will host Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday 10/22 and Tues 10/29 from 3:30-6:30pm. Parents of students in Kindergarten through 5th grade may make an appointment with their child's teacher directly. To make an appointment with teachers for 6th grade through high school, please call either the WGS or WHS office.
On 10/22, WHS will host a display titled "Hidden In Plain Sight" during the conferences which will educate parents on current trends in drug paraphernalia and other illicit materials with an interactive element of a mock bedroom as the setting. Parents of all WHS/WGS students are welcome to attend this display.
