District #209 Partnering with YMCA for After School Program

YMCA Logo and symbol, meaning, history, PNGWoodlawn USD #209 is happy to announce that it is partnering with the YMCA of Jefferson County to provide after-school services to district students for the 2022-2023 school year. While there is a cost associated with the program, Woodlawn USD #209 has received grant money to help off-set the cost of running the program. As a result, the district will cover the cost for district families until the grant money runs out. Parents will be given ample notice prior to the exhaustion of the grant funds before the cost of the program is passed on to the families who wish to continue participating in the program. Attached are documents that explain the program, how to sign up, and what the daily/weekly cost of the program is. Once again, the district will cover the daily cost until its grant money runs out. We anticipate the grant money will hold out until at least Thanksgiving, but it all depends on the number of students who take advantage of the program. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us, or to the YMCA of Jefferson County.
