Scholarships to Fund Future Education

Scholarship Criteria and Other Information Deadline

Presidential Scholarship with Southeast Missouri University

3.9 high school GPA with no ACT/SAT score required; 3.75 high school GPA with a test requirement of 31 ACT/1390 SAT; worth $10,000 your first year and grows to total $43,000 over your 4-year college course December 1st, 2022

HAGAN Scholarship Foundation - HAGAN Scholarship

  1. Must attend an eligible public high school
  2. Must have achieved a 3.5 GPA
  3. Must enroll in an eligible college or university
  4. Must maintain a 4 year or less graduation schedule
  5. Applicant’s Adjusted Household Income reported for Federal Income Tax Purposes must not Exceed $85,000.

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide four-year need-based merit scholarship providing each recipient with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free, providing up to $6,000 each semester. After graduation from college, Hagan Scholars can apply for a two-year extension of their scholarship to attend graduate school or a professional school, receiving $6,000 each semester.

Tri-County Electric Cooperative Scholarships

9 Scholarships available for students whose parents are TCE members; 1 Scholarship available for a child of TCE employee/board member; 4 Scholarships for high school seniors planning to become a full-time student of a 2-year Illinois community college and are the child of a TCE member, employee, or director; each scholarship worth $2,000

Tri-County Electric - the LaVern and Nola McEntire Lineworker’s Scholarship

1 Scholarship available for a child of co-op members, relatives of co-op employees or directors, or individuals who have served or are serving in the armed forces or National Guard are all eligible for this scholarship, intending to help pay for costs to attend lineworker school conducted by the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives in conjunction with Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL; scholarship worth $2,000 April 30th, 2023
